Description
There’s something magical about Valentine’s Day Oreo pops—a sweet little creation that combines nostalgia, creativity, and pure joy all in one bite.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 Oreos (Double Stuf preferred)
- 1 cup white chocolate chips or white candy melts
- 1 cup milk or dark chocolate chips or candy melts
- 12 lollipop sticks or paper straws
- Valentine’s Day sprinkles
- Red or pink candy melts (optional, for drizzle)
- 1–2 teaspoons refined coconut oil or shortening (optional)
- Gel food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- Carefully twist open the Oreo cookies, insert a lollipop stick into the cream center. Add a dab of melted chocolate to help adhere, press the other half back on.
- Place the pops on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for 5 minutes.
- Melt the white and milk/dark chocolate in separate bowls according to package instructions, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each Oreo pop into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Allow excess to drip off.
- Decorate immediately with sprinkles. For extra flair, drizzle with melted red or pink candy melts.
- Let the pops set at room temperature or chill in the fridge before serving.
Notes
- Freeze the pops before dipping to ensure they hold together.
- Add a teaspoon of coconut oil to the chocolate for a smoother consistency.
- Apply sprinkles immediately before the chocolate sets.
