- 2โ3 lbs baby red Potatoes, halved
- 2ยฝโ3ยฝ lbs Corned Beef Brisket
- 1 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- ยฝ teaspoon celery salt
- 12 oz beer (lager, ale, or stout)
- 16 oz sauerkraut, drained
Instructions
- Rinse the corned beef brisket under cold running water and pat it dry with paper towels.
- Place the carrots and potatoes at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Set the corned beef brisket on top of the vegetables, fat side up.
- Sprinkle the ground pepper, garlic powder, and celery salt evenly over the brisket.
- Pour the beer into the slow cooker, ensuring it covers at least the bottom half of the meat.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or on high for 6 hours.
- One hour before finishing, add the drained sauerkraut around the brisket.
- Remove the brisket, slice against the grain, and serve with vegetables and sauerkraut.
