- 200 g icing sugar
- 7 tbsp warm water

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180ยฐC / 350ยฐF (160ยฐC Fan / gas mark 4). Line a baking tin with parchment paper.
- Cream together the margarine and caster sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Fold in the self-raising flour, add vanilla, and milk if desired.
- Transfer batter to baking tin; smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 25โ30 minutes. Check with a skewer; if it comes out clean, the cake is done.
- Let the cake cool completely on a cake rack.
- Mix icing sugar with warm water, spread over cake, and add sprinkles.
- Allow the icing to set before slicing the cake.
