- ΒΌ teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Add sliced pears to the bowl and gently toss to coat them thoroughly.
- Transfer the pears to a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook while stirring occasionally until the liquid thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and vanilla extract. Let the filling cool completely before using.
