Description

Delight in the magical sweetness of no bake red velvet cake balls, wrapped in a creamy white chocolate shell. Perfect for holiday treats or last-minute party desserts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 15.25 oz red velvet cake mix
  • 8 oz full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 20 oz vanilla melting wafers
  • ยฝ cup red candy melts (optional, for drizzling)
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the dry cake mix evenly. Bake for 5 minutes or until it reaches 165ยฐF to heat treat. Let cool completely.
  2. Whip the softened cream cheese in a medium bowl with a hand mixer until smooth, 1โ€“2 minutes. Add the cooled cake mix to the cream cheese and beat again until fully combined.
  3. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 2 hours or freeze for 20โ€“30 minutes if short on time.
  4. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Use a cookie scoop to portion the dough, roll into balls, and place on the baking sheets. Let sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
  5. Melt the vanilla melting wafers using a double boiler or microwave, then dip each cake ball into the melted chocolate and place back onto the baking sheet.
  6. While the coating is still wet, immediately add sprinkles. If using candy melts for decoration, melt them and drizzle on once the coating has set. Let harden before serving.
