Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 9-inch square pan with foil, lightly greasing it.
  2. Microwave chocolate chips and butter in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Whisk sugar into chocolate mixture. Add eggs, one at a time; whisk gently.
  4. Stir in flour, food coloring, baking powder, vanilla, and salt until well combined.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 44 to 48 minutes. Cool completely.
  6. Beat cream cheese and butter until creamy. Add powdered sugar, salt, and vanilla, beating well.
  7. Spread frosting over cooled brownies and cut into 16 squares.
