Experience the luxury and freshness of a homemade Grape Mille Feuille with layers of crispy filo, silky mascarpone, and fresh grapes.
Ingredients
- Mascarpone (250g)
- Marsala (1 tbsp)
- Icing sugar mixture (1/4 cup or 45g)
- Filo pastry (6 sheets)
- Butter (50g, melted)
- Green grapes (1/2 cup, halved)
- Black grapes (1/2 cup, halved)
- Figs (2, thinly sliced)
- Caster sugar (1/2 cup or 100g)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C / 350°F.
- Mix mascarpone, marsala, and 2 tablespoons of icing sugar in a small bowl, then refrigerate.
- Line a baking tray with paper and lay one filo sheet on a clean surface. Brush with butter and sprinkle icing sugar. Repeat with remaining filo sheets.
- Cut filo stack into 12 rectangles and bake for 5 minutes until golden. Cool completely.
- Place one filo rectangle on each serving plate. Spoon half of the mascarpone mixture and arrange half the grapes and figs. Repeat layers.
- Melt caster sugar in a pan until caramelized and drizzle over each mille feuille. Serve immediately.

- Use fresh, firm grapes for the best texture and flavor.
- Allow the pastry cream to chill thoroughly.
