Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (240 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup (200 g) granulated white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 2/3 cup (160 ml) milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) oil (vegetable, canola, or other neutral oil)
  • 1 1/2 cups grapes, cut into quarters
  • Turbinado sugar (optional, for sprinkling on top)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (177Β°C). Grease or line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and oil.
  4. Combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients gently using a spatula, then fold in grapes.
  5. Pour the batter into the loaf pan, sprinkle with turbinado sugar if desired.
  6. Bake for 60-70 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool completely on a cooling rack before removing from pan and slicing.
  8. Serve with butter or honey for extra sweetness.
