Description
Easy Caprese Dip is a warm, cheesy appetizer packed with fresh tomatoes, basil, and gooey mozzarella. A quick, crowd-pleasing twist on the classic Caprese salad.

- 1 1/2 cups fresh mozzarella cheese, cubed
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp basil pesto
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/8 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC).
- In an oven-safe baking dish, combine cherry tomatoes, olive oil, pesto, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Toss well.
- Roast the tomato mixture for 15 minutes until the tomatoes soften and begin to blister.
- In a large bowl, mix the sour cream, cubed mozzarella, Parmesan, and chopped basil.
- Remove the roasted tomatoes from the oven and add the cheese mixture to the baking dish. Stir to combine.
- Return the dish to the oven and bake for another 20 minutes until the cheese is melted, golden, and bubbly.
- Garnish with more fresh basil before serving. Serve warm with crusty bread, crackers, or pita chips.
Notes
- Use fresh mozzarella for a better melt.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze for extra flavor.
- Great with toasted sourdough or baguette slices.
- You can prepare it ahead and bake before serving.
