- 10 oz pecan halves
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp chopped rosemary (about 1 sprig), plus extra leaves for garnish
- Sea salt, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 250Β°F (120Β°C).
- Spread the pecan halves evenly on a large baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes to lightly toast.
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat; keep stirring until it foams and turns light brown.
- Remove from heat immediately. Take the pecans out of the oven and add them to the saucepan with the butter.
- Stir in the brown sugar and chopped rosemary until the pecans are well coated.
- Spread the coated pecans back onto the baking sheet in an even layer.
- Return to oven for another 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with sea salt. Serve warm or let cool completely.
Notes
- Donβt rush the browning of the butter for the best flavor.
