- 1/2 pound fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 1/2 tablespoons dried parsley
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1β2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in butter and let it melt completely.
- Pour in chicken broth, then add salt and pepper. Bring to a boil.
- Add fettuccine and cook, stirring occasionally, until al dente (about 12 minutes).
- If needed, add more broth to prevent sticking.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, heavy cream, and parsley.
- Mix until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan and parsley.
Notes
- Use fresh Parmesan cheese for the creamiest result.
- Donβt add the cream too early wait until the end to prevent curdling.
- Add grilled chicken or shrimp to make it a complete meal.
- If the sauce thickens too much, add a splash of broth or milk.
