Ingredients

  • 8 oz Fontina cheese, cubed
  • 8 oz Smoked gouda, cubed
  • 9 oz genoa salami, cubed
  • 6 oz pepperoni slices
  • 1/2 cup green olives
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup almonds
  • 3–4 tbsp honey mustard or delicatessen-style mustard
  • 1 (5 oz) rosemary flatbread crackers
  • 1 (4.25 oz) water crackers
  • Fresh pomegranate seeds, for garnish
  • 8–10 fresh rosemary sprigs

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the fresh rosemary sprigs.
  2. Cube the cheeses and salami into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Quarter the pepperoni slices and secure each with a toothpick.
  4. Lay out the meats and cheeses at the base of a large platter.
  5. Stack each layer higher and narrower to mimic the shape of a Christmas tree.
  6. Fill the gaps with olives, almonds, and dried cranberries.
  7. Use rosemary sprigs as branches.
  8. Place mustard in a ramekin at the base as a tree trunk.
  9. Surround the setup with crackers.
  10. Garnish with fresh pomegranate seeds and a star-cut piece of cheese at the top.
